Installing a PRE

Use the following procedure to install the PRE into slot 0A or slot 0B in the Cisco 10000 chassis.

Note If you are replacing a PRE, see the “Removing a PRE” section on page 17 before you begin this

procedure.

Step 1 Attach an antistatic wrist strap to your wrist and to an ESD socket on the chassis, or to a bare metal

surface on the chassis or frame.
