Step 3 Select System-->Region and ensure that there is a region available that will be

appropriate for communication with the IP Office as shown in Figure 11. If not,

• Select Add a New Region, enter a region name and the codec to be used within this

region, as well as a codec to use for calls between this region and the existing regions.

• Press Update and then Restart Devices to effect this change.

Step 4 Select System-->Location to define a location for the IP406 Server.

• Select Add a New Location and add a unique Location Name.

• Bandwidth for this configuration is 100,000 kbps as the systems are LAN connected.
