Figure 3 shows the memory usage throughout the test. The steep increase at the

beginning of the chart reflects the beginning of the test with the 193 virtual desktops powering

on. After boot up, vDTs that were not active conserved memory via page sharing. As sessions

became active, the memory conserved by page sharing decreased until all page-sharing savings

reached zero.
