Replacement of an Existing Unit with a Spare*

1. Determine the PID and SN of the defective and spare devices

2. Enter PIDs and SNs into the “Re-host a License” tool on

cisco.com

3. License portal determines PAK associated with defective device

4. New license issued

5. Customer installs new licenses on the spare device
